Celebrate L angle to Recovery

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Join us on Friday evening, June 10 as we hear another wonderful CR testimony.  Second Corinthians 1:3-4 is one of Celebrate Recovery’s key verses.  God helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups and habits so we in turn can help others gain the victory over theirs.  We start off by saying, “This is how it was for me; this is my personal experience with my addiction.  This is how I gained the victory in my recovery – and there’s hope for you as well.”

Our weekly schedule:

6pm – dinner

7pm – large group (in the Chapel)

8pm – small open share groups (issue & gender specific)

9pm – dessert & coffee/Solid Rock Café

We look forward to seeing you on June 10!

  1. Is there a cost to attend? When serving dinner, how are eating disorders considered in what is being served?

I am very interested in this. It mat my be what I’ve been searching for.

    1. There is no cost to attend CR meetings. We do request a $3 donation for the dinner and $2 for the desserts during the Solid Rock time. This is so we can buy food supplies for the next week. But please know no one is turned away because they can not afford the cost. As far as eating disorders are concerned, we do try to provide light and healthy options. Some people bring their own food due to dietary restrictions, etc., some come for the fellowship and don’t eat at all. Also, know that the dinner and the Solid Rock time are totally optional.
