Friday December 30, 2016- Lesson 9: Inventory

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

Psalms 139:23-24 ESV

We hope you will join us on Friday evening, December 30 when we share Lesson 9, INVENTORY.  Principle Four begins the process of “coming clean” It’s here that we openly examine and confess our faults to ourselves, to God and to someone else we trust.  It’s important to list all the people and things we’re holding resentment against.  Our goal is to accomplish what Ephesians 4:31 instructs us to do:  “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.”  The sins we discover are from our old self.  We need to list them in our inventory so we can eventually release them and break the hold they’ve had on us.

Recovery is a sometimes difficult but amazing journey.  We invite you to take the journey with us and hope to see you on the 30th of December!

Note: We are meeting in the Bigg House this week (located on the north side of the church parking lot- look for the only cars in the lot).
